Honolulu reopens Fort Street satellite city hall
Honolulu has finished renovating its satellite city hall on Fort Street Mall.
It had been closed for two months while city workers installed a new counter, cabinets, new security cameras and additional lightning.
The city says the work was done by employees and this saved money for taxpayers.
Mayor Peter Carlisle, satellite city hall staff, and the glee club of the Royal Hawaiian Band will reopen the new facility on today.
