Man, 37, arrested in Chinatown on drug charges following public complaints
A 37-year-old man was arrested in Chinatown Thursday by police who were monitoring the area in response to recent community complaints about illegal drug activity.
Police said the man, of no permanent address, was observed smoking a glass pipe in the rear public parking lot on Kekaulike Street at about 1:57 p.m. Thursday.
The suspect is being held pending counts of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and possessing drug paraphernalia.
