Kaneohe Bay Drive section reopened after water pipe fixed
Kaneohe Bay Drive was reopened in the vicinity of the Kaneohe Yacht Club after repairs to a broken hydrant line and the roadway were completed about 9:30 a.m. today.
The break on water line that provides water to an area fire hydrant broke about 1 p.m. Friday between Laha Street and the yacht club, requiring police to redirect traffic away from the area through the night.
No water customers were affected by the break, the Honolulu Board of Water Supply said.
