Restaurant window smashed with cinderblock; man arrested
A 41-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night after he smashed the front window of a restaurant with a cinder block in Kalihi.
Police said the man entered the North King Street business through the broken window about 11 p.m. and took cigarettes before exiting again through the broken window.
Witnesses reported the incident, and the man, who has no permanent address, was arrested at King Street and Gulick Avenue for investigation of second-degree burglary.
