Single tickets for the musical "Wicked" will go on sale April 21, producers said.

The musical, which tells the story of the witches of Oz, is coming to Honolulu for its Hawaii premiere at the Blaisdell Concert Hall from Nov. 24 through Jan. 16, 2013.

In-person sales of tickets will be offered first, beginning at 8 a.m. April 21 at the Blaisdell Center box office and at nine Walmarts in the islands. Prices for the tickets begin at $40.

Single tickets will be available online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone via Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 beginning 11 a.m. April 21. There is an eight-ticket limit per patron.

Tickets went on sale April 2 for a season of three productions presented by Broadway in Hawaii, including "Wicked." "Rain – A Tribute to the Beatles" performances are May 13 to 19, 2013. "Blue Man Group" performances are June 18 to 23, 2013.
