Academy of Art dumps Hawaii-Hilo
Stefen Henderson went 2-for-3 with a triple and five RBIs to lead Academy of Art to an 8-5 victory over Hawaii-Hilo in baseball in San Francisco.
Jonathan Robbins went 2-for-4 and drove in a run for the Urban Knights (3-28, 3-21).
Jonathan James had two hits and two RBIs for the Vulcans (9-28, 6-22).
UHH’s Dela Cruz is pitcher of week
Hawaii-Hilo freshman pitcher Jeremy Dela Cruz was named the league’s pitcher of the week after helping the Vulcans win twice last week.
The Damien Memorial graduate struck out four and gave up six hits in 101⁄3 innings. He had a complete-game victory in the 4-2, nine-inning win over Academy of Art.

Chaminade’s Strom-Okimoto earns honor
Junior infielder Rayna Strom-Okimoto earned the conference’s player player of the week honor after leading Chaminade to the title of the bronze bracket of last week’s Tournament of Champions in Turlock, Calif.
The Aiea High product batted .543 in 13 starts, going 19-for-35, with seven runs, five doubles, two triples and eight RBIs. She was named to the all-tournament team.

BYUH’s Tuionetoa named player of week
Brigham Young-Hawaii freshman Marietta Tuionetoa picked up the league’s player of the week honor after helping the Seasiders go 5-0 last week.
She was 5-0 in both singles and doubles competition.

Di Camillo going into CoSIDA Hall of Fame
Tom Di Camillo, the conference’s assistant commissioner-media relations, will be inducted into the College Sports Information Directors of America Hall of Fame this June during the organization’s annual convention in St. Louis.
Last July, Di Camillo assumed the role of president of CoSIDA, becoming the first non-Division I president to serve in the organization’s leadership position since Warren Berg nearly 50 years ago.
