Boy arrested for allegedly punching school security guard
A 13-year-old boy was arrested Friday after he punched a 58-year-old security guard at a downtown school, police said.
The boy, a student, got into an argument with the man about 10:10 a.m., during school hours, and punched the victim, police said.
Officers arrested the boy for investigation of second-degree assault. He was released pending investigation.
