A 40-year-old Kaneohe man allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend Saturday and struck her car with a baseball bat shattering its windshield, police said.

The suspect allegedly used his car to prevent his ex-girlfriend from leaving her car just after 10 p.m. Friday in the Kaimuki area. Police said he fled after smashing the windshield of the victim’s car.

Officers arrested him Sunday at Aulani Disney Resort, where he works. He is facing first-degree criminal property damage and other assault charges.
