Argument over cellphone leads to arrests and injury
An argument over an allegedly stolen cell phone led to a fight and the arrest of two Kaneohe men who allegedly assaulted a neighbor whom they accused of stealing a cell phone in February.
Police said one of the suspects — a 51-year-old man — accused his neighbor, a 42-year-old man, of stealing a cell phone while they were at a party on Feb. 5.
The confrontation led to a fight with the second suspect, a 24-year-old man, allegedly joining in the assault. Police said the victim received bodily injuries.
Police arrested both suspects Thursday for investigation of second-degree assault.
