Correction
» King David Kalakaua’s reign began in 1874, not 1887, as reported Sunday on Page G1.
» Oriental Love Ring was the first Hawaii band invited to the South by Southwest music conference, appearing in 1990. An article on G1 Sunday said Hapa was the first Hawaii band to be showcased.
Clarifications
» Keoki Kahumoku’s songs were included on Grammy-winning compilation albums. A Saturday Page D1 article referred to him as a Grammy winner, but the awards actually went to the albums’ producers.
