72-year-old man arrested in Oahu arson cases
Police arrested a 72-year-old man Monday afternoon in connection with two arson cases outside Oahu buildings Sept. 6 and Monday.
Police said the man is a suspect in a Sept. 6 fire outside a downtown Honolulu business that caused $400 in damage as well a Monday fire outside a building in Waianae that caused $200 in damage.
The man, who gave no permanent address, was arrested Monday afternoon at a Waianae service station for investigation of two counts of fourth-degree arson, both misdemeanors.
