The Hawaii women’s volleyball team moved up two spots to No. 9 in today’s AVCA Coaches Division I Top 25 poll.

The Rainbow Wahine (14-1) had been at No. 11 for the past three weeks.

The top five remained the same, led by Illinois (15-0) receiving 56 first-place votes. The Illini were followed by UCLA (13-2, two votes) Washington (13-1, one vote), California (15-2) and USC (11-3, one vote).

Rounding out the top 10 were Nebraska (11-1), Stanford (10-3), Penn State (10-4), Hawaii and Texas (9-4).
