4 men arrested for allegedly robbing a man at Waipahu Transit Center
Four young men were arrested after allegedly robbing and beating a man at the Waipahu Transit Center early this morning.
Police said a man waiting for the bus was approached by the four males, ages 17 to 20, about 1:10 a.m., police said. After the man refused to give them money, he was punched and kicked, and had his hat removed from his head, police said.
The four men fled on foot but were later captured by officers nearby at Hanawai Circle. Arrested on suspicion of second-degree robbery charges were a Waianae man, 20; a Waipahu man, 18; a Waipahu man, 20; and a 17-year-old boy.
