A 25 year-old man jumped out of an ambulance taking him to the hospital and damaged a car, police said. Officers arrested him on suspicions of criminal property damage and disorderly conduct.

Police said the incident occurred on Beretania Street at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday when the suspect suddenly became upset and jumped out the ambulance. He ran up to a vehicle in traffic and began kicking the rear passenger door causing damage.

The suspect also disregarded orders by police and was arrested for resisting arrest, police said.
