» Cornell sophomore Mackenzie Sato (‘Iolani ’10) took first on floor exercise with a 9.775 in a tri-meet with Pennsylvania and Brockport on Saturday.

» Arizona senior Rebecca Cardenas (Hawaiian Mission Academy ’08) placed first on bars with a 9.85 and seventh on floor exercise with a 9.775 against Texas Women’s University on Saturday.

» Louisiana State freshman Randi Lau (Thompson Academy ’11) earned a season-best score of 9.80 on the beam, 9.80 on floor exercise and a 9.725 on bars in a win over Kentucky on Friday. Lau finished fourth on beam, fifth on floor and eighth on bars.

» Maryland senior Becca Pang (Punahou ’08) finished sixth on the beam with a 9.70 in a tri-meet against North Carolina and Bowling Green on Sunday.

» UC Davis freshman Tiana Montell (St. Joseph ’11) finished third in the all-around in a meet against California on Sunday. Montell was seventh on vault with a 9.575, seventh on bars with a 9.650, 10th on the beam with a 9.1 and eighth on the floor with a 9.600. » Arizona State senior Kahoku Palafox (Maryknoll ’08) placed eighth on the beam with a 9.675 and 11th on the bars with an 8.80 in a meet on Friday against Utah State.

» Sacramento State senior Emiko Ono (Roosevelt ’08) placed seventh on bars with a 9.575 and 12th on vault with a 9.225 in a meet on Friday against Southern Utah.

» Michigan State freshman Carson Tabiolo (Moanalua ’11) earned an eighth-place finish on bars with a 9.525 in a meet on Saturday against Eastern Missouri.

» Eastern Michigan senior Tracie Tamashiro (Kalani ’08) finished in 15th place with a 9.475 on the beam in a quad-meet on Friday with Illinois-Chicago, Illinois State and Central Michigan.

» Dartmouth junior Joy Piotrowski (Punahou ’09) placed fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 34 feet, 11 inches at the Dartmouth Indoor Classic on Saturday. » Washington State announced Monday that two-time state pole vault champion Kristine Felix (Baldwin ’12) has signed a national letter of intent with the Cougars. She is a three-time MIL pole vault champion and won MIL titles in the 100-meter dash and 400-meter relay as a freshman.
