Waialae man violated TRO in assault on ex-girlfriend, police say
A 42 year-old Waialae man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly violating a temporary restraining order and assaulting his ex-girlfriend in July.
Police said the couple, who had recently broken up, agreed to meet at a McCully-area shopping center on July 9. The meeting ended when the suspect threw an object at the woman’s car, damaging the vehicle. The 34-year-old woman drove to a nearby shopping center to call police, but the suspect followed her and allegedly assaulted her, police said.
