High surf advisory in effect until Wednesday evening
The National Weather Service has issued a high surf advisory until Wednesday at 6 p.m. for all islands, but has canceled a high surf warning.
Surf on north-facing shores is expected to peak at 18 to 24 feet tonight and be 14 to 18 feet Wednesday.
Surf on west-facing shores is expected to be 14 to 18 feet tonight and 12 to 14 feet Wednesday.
A high surf advisory means high surf will affect beaches, producing rip currents and localized beach erosion.
