Man is in critical condition after nearly drowning in lagoon
A 54-year-old man was taken to a Honolulu hospital in critical condition Friday evening after nearly drowning in the lagoon at Hilton Hawaiian Village this afternoon, Friday paramedics said.
The man was found floating face down in the water shortly before 4 p.m. Firefighters and bystanders attempted to revive him just outside the man-made lagoon.
No other information was immediately available.
