Michigan boy, 6, unfazed by hole-in-one on Maui golf course

YPSILANTI, Mich. »; A Michigan father says his 6-year-old son is unfazed after getting a hole-in-one at a Maui golf course.

Braden Hill of Ypsilanti aced the shot from a 68-yard kids’ tee at the Kaanapali Kai course on July 27, the Detroit News reported.

Brent Hill says he was "much more excited" than his son about the accomplishment.

"I had to explain to him I’ve never gotten one, most golfers hadn’t ever had a hole-in-one," Brent Hill told the newspaper. "Being 6, he hasn’t quite grasped it."

Brent Hill says the main repercussion of the hole-in-one is that Braden now thinks he should get one all the time.

He said his son picked up his first golf club when he was just 1, and took to the sport quickly. He has even competing in tournaments.
