A 16-year-old boy was arrested today for allegedly taking a 13-year-old boy’s hat in November in Aiea. 

The older boy threatened to assault the younger boy if he didn’t give up his hat on Nov. 28, then took the hat off the boy’s head and left, police said. 

The younger boy saw the other boy wearing his hat several days later, and his father recovered it. The 16-year-old was identified and arrested about 11:30 a.m. today for investigation of second-degree robbery, then released, pending investigation.
