Due to the heat and humidity, the first two weeks of August are the peak summer travel season for South Koreans. In July the country was pummeled by torrential rain, leaving many parts of Seoul in chest-deep water. The weather this year has been unusual, beginning with a long winter of steady snowfall, followed by a short spring and now one of the worst rainy seasons.

"My Love by My Side"
Episodes 7 and 8

Tonight, 6:45 p.m.: After Hee-gyung finds out Mi-sol is pregnant, she tells the whole school despite her friend’s pleas to keep it quiet.

Tonight, 7:45 p.m.: After Mi-sol sees her mother on her knees pleading with the principal to let her daughter stay, she decides that she can no longer attend the school. Sun-ah’s piano school is shut down, and Woo-dong steals all her money. Seven years later Seok-bin, who impregnated Mi-sol, returns to the town with an M.B.A. and a wife.

"Lie to Me"
Episodes 11 and 12

Tomorrow, 7:45 p.m.: Ah-jung goes to Jeju on a business trip, and Ki-joon follows her and keeps her company. Ki-joon throws her a surprise party and asks her out. The two of them promise to start over from the beginning without any lies.

Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Ki-joon tells Mr. Chen the truth about his fake marriage. Ki-joon shows up at Ah-jung’s house and introduces himself to her dad. Chairwoman Hyun tells Ki-joon to ask Yoon-ju’s dad for help with Mr. Chen’s contract and arranges a dinner.

"City Hunter"
Episodes 13 and 14

Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Jin-pyo points his gun at Na-na, but Yoon-sung rescues her. Yoon-sung plans to punish Kim Jong-shik and sneaks into his office, but he runs into Young-joo.

Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Yoon-sung flees the scene of the accident in shock, but Young-joo sees him. Yoon-sung finds out it was Jin-pyo who ran over Shik-joong.

"New Tales of Gisaeng"
Episodes 45 and 46

Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Ah Su-ra is rescued by the grandma spirit just before a truck hits his car, but he thinks he just got lucky. Ja and Gong-ju get married, but nobody knows it’s just a contractual marriage.

Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Furious with Ah Su-ra for neglecting her, Ra-ri says she is leaving him. The grandma spirit returns and goes into Ah Su-ra’s body, causing him to behave strangely. Ra-ra introduces Kyle to Eo-san as the man she wants to marry. Eo-san gives them his blessing, but he’s worried what Ra-ra’s mother would say.
