Police arrested a 39-year-old Palolo man today who allegedly assaulted a 31-year-old man in November.

The case detective received a tip where the suspect would be today, located him at Waterfront Plaza, 500 Ala Moana Blvd., and arrested him this afternoon on suspicion of first-degree assault.

On Nov. 14, the two men had gotten into an argument, which was about to turn physical when the younger man lost his footing and became temporarily incapacitated in Palolo, police said. The older man allegedly assaulted him, causing him "substantial and serious bodily harm," police said.

The suspect has been released pending further investigation.
