Grilled cheese truck melting away

If you’re a fan of the Melt food truck, get your fill today and tomorrow before the grilled cheese specialists close up shop for the foreseeable future.

In their weekly Melt email, chef Lindsey Ozawa and crew say they will be "working on other projects," such as the upcoming Prima in Kailua and the pop-up restaurant The Pig and the Lady.

Melt will offer its "classic menu" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Mililani Street and same time tomorrow on Ward Avenue in front of Sports Authority. Check melthonolulu.com for last-minute updates.

Restaurant offers lasagna bonus

National Lasagna Day is before us once again, and tomorrow Buca di Beppo is celebrating the day with a free lunch portion of the dish for dine-in customers.

Buy a small or large pasta or entree to get the lasagna. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Ward Entertainment Center, downstairs from the Consolidated Ward theaters. Call 591-0800.
