SCCA holds RallyCross on Saturday
The Hawaii Region of the Sports Car Club of America holds its ninth RallyCross of the season Saturday at Kalaeloa Raceway Park.
RallyCross, a scaled-down version of a road rally, helps drivers better their car-control skills on low-traction surfaces. The course is laid out on a non-paved plot of land, with traffic cones used for delineation.
Hawaii SCCA members will be on hand to help first-timers through the process. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
