Hawaiian Airlines is increasing the frequency of its nonstop service between Seoul and Honolulu to daily from four flights a week beginning July 16.
The announcement Wednesday comes nearly one year after Hawaiian initiated service to Incheon International Airport. The extra flights will add more than 40,000 new air seats annually and increase the total over a full year to more than 96,000 seats.
"Offering daily flights between Seoul and Honolulu has always been part of our growth plan," Hawaiian President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Dunkerley said.
"Demand among Korean travelers to vacation in Hawaii and for Hawaiian Airlines as a preferred carrier has been steadily building this past year."
