Man arrested for allegedly robbing another man in Waipahu
Honolulu police arrested a 19-year-old man with no permanent address after he allegedly robbed another man waiting at a bus stop in the Mokuola section of Waipahu about 9:45 Thursday night.
Police said the man approached the victim and demanded his belongings, indicating that he had a weapon.
The suspect then fled on foot with the victim’s iPhone, wallet and cash, police said. Officers located the suspect and arrested him on Kauolu Place. He is being held pending charges of first-degree robbery and resisting arrest.
