Hawaii-based leaders of the 25th Infantry Division are scheduled to return from Iraq this weekend after a year-long deployment.
The leaders are coming home on Sunday as the U.S. as the last American troops leave the country.
The soldiers have been responsible for advising, training and help Iraqis throughout central Iraq since early this year.
The 25th Infantry Division headquarters has also been responsible for overseeing the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq.
The soldiers are due to arrive at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. A redeployment ceremony will be held for them afterward at Wheeler Army Airfield.
