Enrich kids with winter camp
Keep the kids busy and having fun during a winter day camp program run by Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii at Spalding Clubhouse.
The program, from Dec. 19 to 30, will alternate between on-site activities and field trips to places such as the Hono lulu Zoo, Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour, the Makapuu Lighthouse and the beach. On-site programs will include fitness, arts and crafts, science and music. The program is open to ages 7 to 13.
“It’s just a positive place where kids can be engaged,” said Natalie Moore of the clubhouse. “They learn a lot of different things with field trips and the in-club programs.”
The program will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with late pickup available until 6 p.m. Cost is $190 and covers admission fees, bus fees and a club T-shirt but does not cover lunch.
