The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports officers responded to a fight between several people early Saturday on a walkway between the MGM Grand and New York-New York.

When officers arrived, they found two men on the walkway with multiple stab wounds.

Both men were taken to University Medical Center, where one died. The other man is expected to survive.

Police say two men found near the scene were taken into custody and arrests are forthcoming.

The names of the stabbing victims were not immediately released.
