Medical examiner seeks identity of jogger who collapsed on Round Top

The Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office says a jogger who died June 3 was carrying a square silver colored metal piece that resembles a “magic square.”

The city Department of the Medical Examiner is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who collapsed while jogging near Round Top Drive and Maunalaha Road around 3:54 p.m. June 3.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He is described as in his 50s or older, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 197 pounds, and having a medium to heavy build with brown eyes and short gray hair. 

He was weariing a gray T-shirt, white and black board shorts, black socks, and white athletic shoes. He also had a scar on his left knee possibly from surgery.

He was carrying a square, silver-colored metal piece resembling a "magic square."

Anyone with information on his identification is asked to call the Medical Examiner’s Department at 768-3090.
