Driver charged for allegedly trying to run over man in Waipahu
A 29-year-old woman accused of trying to run over a 57-year-old man in Waipahu on Saturday has been charged with first-degree terroristic threatening and second-degree criminal property damage.
According to police, Susan-Lei Baptista was arguing with the son of the victim. When the argument escalated, the victim asked Baptista to leave, at which point she allegedly attempted to strike the victim with her car and rammed another vehicle before leaving.
Baptista’s bail was set at $15,000.
