Woman arrested for allegedly throwing knife at man on a mo-ped
A 68-year-old McCully woman was arrested for allegedly throwing a kitchen knife at a 61-year-old man as he tried to flee on a mo-ped, police said.
The woman approached the man in their home with a kitchen knife and threatened him about 9 p.m. Monday, police said. While fleeing from the home on his mo-ped, the man heard something strike his mo-ped and fall to the ground. He turned and saw the same kitchen knife on the ground.
On Tuesday morning, the man was watching TV when the woman held a pair of scissors to his abdomen, police said. He again fled his home in fear of his life and called police. Officers arrested the woman on suspicion of two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening when she returned hom about 7:35 p.m. Tuesday.
