State plans meeting on transportation services
The state Department of Transportation plans to host a meeting in Kailua-Kona later this month to review a draft plan on how it should coordinate transportation services for senior citizens, individuals with disabilities and low-income residents.
The department said Tuesday it will use feedback it receives to help it prioritize which projects to fund. It’s encouraging the public to attend a June 28 meeting at the West Hawaii Civic Center at 9:30 a.m. to discuss the draft plan.
