Man allegedly assaults police officer in Queen’s emergency room
Police arrested a man Wednesday for allegedly assaulting a police officer while in the emergency room at the Queen’s Medical Center.
The 25-year-old man, who has no local address, had been arrested for abuse and taken to the hospital for treatment of an undisclosed condition. At the emergency room, the man became disorderly and kicked the officer watching him in the back of the head, police said. Police arrested the man for investigation of assaulting a police officer.
