Bankruptcy filings continue to decrease in Hawaii
Bankruptcy filings in Hawaii dipped to 334 cases in May, a 0.6 percent decrease from the 342 cases filed in April, U.S. Bankruptcy Court records show. The caseload represents the fourth month-to-month decrease this year.
This year so far, 1,567 bankruptcies have been filed, a 5.1 percent drop from the 1,651 cases filed last year at this time.
