Fire causes $40,000 damage to trailer in transportation yard
Fire investigators are trying to find the cause of a fire that caused $40,000 to an office in a converted trailer Monday night.
The trailer is located on Luapele Drive near Salt Lake Boulevard in a Department of Transportation yard.
The fire was reported at 6:48 p.m., and brought under control at 7:03 p.m.
Firefighters had to break into the office to fight the fire. No one was inside at the time.
