Here are the synopses of this week’s Korean drama shows:
"My Love by My Side"
Episodes 37 and 38
Tonight, 6:45 p.m.: When Soryong finds out that he’s been adopted, he disappears. Un-hee desperately tries to find him, asking Mi-sol to contact her if he calls. When Mi-sol finds out why Soryong disappeared, she finds out where he is and goes to him. Sun-ah can’t get over her anger at what Seok-bin and Jung-ja did to Mi-sol. She meets with them and slaps Seok-bin, calling it even after Seok-bin gets on his knees and apologizes.
Tonight, 7:45 p.m.: Mi-sol finds Soryong, but he disappears again in the morning. Soryong texts his mother to tell her he needs time to sort out things. When he comes back, he acts like nothing happened. However, he breaks up with Mi-sol, telling her he can’t do anything to hurt his mom. Mi-sol gets a big break at work, but it doesn’t make her happy because she can’t share it with Soryong.
"Warrior Baek Dong Su"
Episodes 25 and 26
Monday,7:45 p.m.: Jin-ju battles two men and manages to win. To be the head of the Black Lanterns, Yeo-woon battles Chun. Hong Dae-ju orders the royal force to kill Chun.
Tuesday,7:45 p.m.: Dong-su gets hurt but Yeo-woon saves him. Jin-ju tells Yeo-woon that Dong-su is the only friend she has left because both of her parents have died. Yeo-woon tells Jin-ju that Dong-su is still his friend.
"Live in Style"
Episodes 5 and 6
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Shin-hyung’s mother gives him permission to marry Ah-ra. Shin-hyung and Ah-ra are ecstatic, but Shin-hyung’s mother tells Ah-ra to quit her work and become a full-time housewife once she marries. Sung-ae tells Yong-pal she can’t marry him because of her children.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: No-ra steals jewels and even her nephew’s piggy bank from Da-ra’s house. Shin-hyung makes empty promises to bring peace between Ah-ra and his mother. Yong-pal follows Sung-ae to the hospital and finds out she is in the final stage of lung cancer.
"Tree with Deep Roots"
Episodes 3 and 4
Friday,7:45 p.m.: Prince Yi Do surrenders and begs his father for his life. Sensing that his son is not sincere, King Taejong asks him what he plans to do. Yi Do says he’ll build a small academy for himself and a group of scholars and support the king. Prince Yi Do promises himself that he will become a king who brings peace to his people, unlike his tyrannical father.
Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Prince Yi Do’s attempt to save Jung Do-gwang’s life fails. But upon his father’s death, the prince renews his vow to become a peaceful king. Kang Chae-yoon disguises himself as an errand boy and penetrates palace security.
