Ten cowboys are due to be inducted into the Paniolo Hall of Fame this weekend. 

The ceremony will take place at the Hawaii Cattlemen’s Council Annual Convention being held at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel on Saturday. 

The Paniolo Hall of Fame was initiated 12 years ago to recognize individuals statewide who have contributed to keeping Hawaii’s paniolo heritage alive. 

Including this year’s inductees, the hall of fame as 116 members both living and deceased.

Rancher and State Sen. Malama Solomon is among those planning to attend the ceremony.
