The junior quarterback rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns, including a 33-yard dash to the pylon with 42 seconds left to give the Bears a 28-24 upset win over then-No. 2 Farrington in the Division I quarterfinals of the First Hawaiian Bank/HHSAA State Football Championships.
