Honolulu police arrested a juvenile male in connection with an alleged armed robbery in Salt Lake on Saturday morning.

Police said a man, 49, reported being confronted by an unknown male on Ala Ilima Street, near the Salt Lake Shopping Center, about 1:55 a.m.

The man brandished a gun and demanded money.

The victim ran from the suspect and nothing was taken, police said.

A short time later, the victim noticed the male back in the same area, police said. He called police and the suspect was arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
