Lack of permit postpones Kailua races

The Friends of Kailua High School Surfriders 5k and 10k runs, set for Nov. 13 have been postponed because of the lack of off-duty officers available for security.

Police are unavailable due to the conflict with the APEC conference, which means no road permit can be issued. The races have been rescheduled for next March 25 at Kailua High. Futsal league will play games at Waipio

The Hawaii Futsal League fall season will be held at Waipio soccer complex.

The league starts Nov. 12, with all games being played on Saturdays between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
