Firefighters check out suspicious package at federal building
A Honolulu Fire Department hazardous materials company is responding to a suspicious package reported this afternoon in the Prince Kuhio federal building at 300 Ala Moana Blvd.
The package was reported shortly after 4:30 p.m.
Initial reports said the unknown package was dropped off and isolated in a room in the building. Employees who had been in contact with the package were also isolated.
