Motorcyclist, 73, succumbs to injuries
A 73-year-old Waipahu man died Tuesday of injuries from an Aug. 17 motorcycle accident, police said.
The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Matthew White.
White was riding his motorcycle on Kaukonahua Road when he crashed. He was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition. He died Tuesday night from his injuries, police said.
No other vehicles were involved, and speeding, alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash, police said.
White was wearing a helmet.
It was the 46th traffic fatality on Oahu this year, and there had been 46 by the same time last year.
