Two boys arrested for allegedly taking a bike at a Moiliili school
Two boys, who allegedly took a classmate’s bike, were arrested in their classrooms at a Moiliili school.
Officers arrested the 12-year-olds on suspicion of felony robbery.
The incident began about 2:30 p.m. Monday when the boys took an 11-year-old boy’s bag, police said.
The younger boy chased the other two into a store, but all three were stopped by store personnel. Outside, the older boys told their victim that he could have his bag back if he gave them something in return. The victim agreed, but his assailants assaulted him and stole his bike, police said.
Officers went to the school and arrested the older boys at about 11:40 a.m. Tuesday. They were released pending investigation.
