UH volleyball’s Umlauft named MPSF first team
Opposite attacker Jonas Umlauft, who leads the nation in kills at 5.55 per set, today was named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation’s first team.
UH left-side hitter Joshua Walker and setter Nejc Zemljak were named to the All-MPSF second team.
Umlauft, who was raised in Germany, improved his production, from 5.29 kills per set as a freshman in 2010, despite men’s volleyball shortening the sets to 25 points.
The Warriors left this afternoon for the Mainland, where they will play UC Irvine in the opening round of the MPSF playoffs.
