» Tohoku University Hospital is in Sendai, Japan — not Sendai, Tokyo, as was incorrectly edited in a commentary on Page F6 Sunday. Sendai is the capital city of Miyagi Prefecture and is the largest city in the Tohoku region. The online edition has been corrected.
» Lynette Takayesu is the mother of Lance Waiokeola Kaowili, the man who was last seen March 24 bodysurfing at Sandy Beach. A Page B4 obituary article yesterday misspelled her last name.
» Bryston Doctolero drove home the winning run in the bottom of the ninth as Farrington High School beat Kaimuki High 6-5 in the opener of a doubleheader Saturday. A Page C8 brief Sunday reported that Doctolero drove home the winning run for Kaimuki. The online edition has been corrected.
» Brock Granger is a former soccer standout from ‘Iolani School, not Punahou School as was reported in a Page C9 article Sunday. The online edition has been corrected.
» Lyle Nelson worked at the Honolulu Star-Bulletin for 31 years as a news reporter, not a sportswriter as was reported on Page C12 Sunday. The online edition has been corrected.
