>> U.S. Sen. Daniel K. Inouye will remain Senate president pro tempore as long as Senate Democrats are in the majority. An “On Politics” column that appeared in the Sunday Star-Advertiser on Page F2 said that Inouye would remain president pro tempore even if Republicans gained the majority after the 2012 election.
