Maui man killed in Paia motorcycle crash
A Maui man was killed when his motorcycle struck a rock wall in a cul-de-sac on Lae Street in Paia.
Ronald Austin, 71, of Paia, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred at 6:28 p.m. Monday.
He was not wearing a helmet.
It was Maui County’s second traffic fatality this year compared to two at the same time last year.
