Man arrested in Waipahu for allegedly choking girlfriend
A 27-year-old man was arrested last night after allegedly choking his girlfriend during an argument over money at a Waipahu home, police said.
The suspect was charged with abuse of a household member after his girlfriend, 33, told police that the suspect choked her with both hands.
Family members intervened and called police.
