Man drowns off Coconut Avenue in Waikiki
A man believed to be in his 40s or 50s died today after being pulled from the ocean in Waikiki.
The man was spotted floating in an area off Coconut Avenue by passersby, who pulled him to shore and performed CPR. Emergency Medical Services personnel, assisted by a Honolulu firefighter, transported the man to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
